Frequently asked questions

if you don't find the answer to your questions below please email us

What size should I order?

The 2161 runs in traditional Brannok sizes 7 to 13, half sizes included, D width. We recommend ordering your standard shoe size. If you prefer a snug boot, go a half size down, but if you like more room or plan to wear thicker socks with them, then you can go up half a size to give yourself more room.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship out within 48 - 72 hours from Spokane, Washington.  Shipping cost is calculated and displayed at checkout.

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days from delivery to return boots in their original box.

How long does break-in take?

These are real leather boots, expect them to be stiff for the first week or two. The leather forms to your foot with wear and stays that way.

Can they be resoled?

Yes! When the Nicks wedge sole wears down the boots can be resoled instead of fully replaced, saving you time and money.

Are they ASTM  or EH rated?

No. The 2161 is a soft-toe boot with no electrical hazard rating. A safety-toe model is in development, sign up for our newsletter to learn when it releases.

Where are they made?

Designed in Spokane, Washington by Nicks Handmade Boots. Built in León, Mexico.

How do I take care of them?

Treat your boots properly and they'll last years. You do this by Brushing off dirt, letting them dry completely between uses, and conditioning the leather when it starts to look dry (post break-in).
